Gary Wine - President and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Wine is a geologist by training with over 35 years in the oil exploration business and has been directly responsible for numerous oil and gas discoveries throughout his career. Most recently he was President and Chief Operating Officer of Petrolifera Petroleum Limited whom he helped to found, and grow the Company at one point to a Market Cap of $1 billion. Mr. Wine presided in his position of President until the company was sold in March 2011. Mr. Wine has extensive exploration experience worldwide which has included various countries in South America, Asia and Europe.

Dean Callaway - Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Callaway has 25 years experience in the energy sector. He is a Certified General Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Dalhousie University in Canada and an MBA from Nijenrode University in the Netherlands. Previously he was the Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) of Gallic Energy Ltd., a TSXV company with international oil and gas operations in France and Australia. Gallic was acquired by Petromanas Energy in 2013. Prior to Gallic Energy, Mr. Callaway was the CFO of TG World Energy Corp, a TSXV company with international oil and gas operations in Alaska, the Philippines and Niger, Africa. TG World Energy was acquired by TVI Pacific in 2011. Prior to this, Mr. Callaway was the CFO of Thailand Resource & Exploration International a private international oil and gas company. Mr. Callaway also worked with Enbridge Inc.  and TransAlta Corp. in the international corporate finance groups and with Merrill Lynch in investment banking.

Phil Miller - Vice President, Exploration

Mr. Miller brings 30 years of world-wide experience to advance and guide the Company’s exploration plans. He has extensive African experience and has been involved in a number of significant discoveries in Nigeria. In addition he has evaluated opportunities and managed exploration campaigns in many other areas of the world, including the Middle East, the deep water Gulf of Mexico, North Sea, offshore South America, Argentina, Southeast Asia, and Australia. A geophysicist by training, Mr. Miller joins the company from Nexen where he directed the evaluation of new business opportunities as Exploration Manager for Global New Ventures.

Shafa Kaulinge - Country Manager, Namibia

Mr. Kaulinge is a local Namibian businessman who is a geologist by training with interests in various industries such as mining, infrastructure, and manufacturing in Namibia. Shafa has more than 10 years experience in Namibia’s mining industry and enjoys business relationships with many major national and international corporations within Namibia, South African Development Community and the International Community as a whole. He has long and good standing relationships with individuals within the Namibian Government. He serves as a member on the board of several corporate entities.

Malibongwe Reeboh Mandela - Director, Government Relations Africa

Mr. Mandela is a pioneer player in the Energy Industry. He is a former Vice President for Homeland Energy Group listed on the TSX, which was involved in coal and Uranium in Africa. Mr. Mandela is a founding member and partner of Energetic Petroleum, a company that managed to secure prospective oil blocks in West Africa. Additionally Mr. Mandela was the leading negotiator for Imvume, the strategic fuel fund of South Africa. Through his travels and business engagements around the African continent, Mr. Mandela has gained valuable insight on various industries as well as the business and political environment in countries around the continent. His engagements have been beneficial in developing his strong business acumen and political networks.

Bongani Mtshisi - Chairman

Mr. Mtshisi is a mining engineer by training and has worked in key commodities such as Platinum, Gold, Diamond, Nickel and Copper with such companies as Anglo Platinum, Debeers/HUF and Sub Nigel Gold. Mr. Mtshisi is CEO of BSC Resources LTD, a company which is responsible of exploration and development of copper and nickel commodities in South Africa. Mr. Mtshisi was also a founding member of Auryx Gold Corp (TSX. AYX) a leader in Namibian gold exploration. Mr. Mtshisi has demonstrated his ability to identify sound exploration projects and structure teams to drive projects up the value curve in the projects that he has spearheaded, creating value for shareholders.

John ‘t Hart

Dr. John ‘t Hart is a geologist by training who most recently, prior to retirement, was Executive Vice President Exploration, Talisman Energy Inc. There he was in charge of the global exploration program, which included the responsibility for technical quality control, portfolio management, exploration reserve additions, and New Business and staff development. He had the responsibility for annual budgets of up to $ 1 bln. His other activities included investor presentations, road shows and technical supervision of global exploration offices. Prior to the 20 years Dr. ‘t Hart spent at Talisman Energy as an Executive and a Manager, he had been employed by British Petroleum (BP) for 15 years in various capacities as a geologist.

Maruf Raza

Mr. Raza is a Partner at Collins Barrow Toronto LLP and a Director at Anaconda Mining. Maruf has over 10 years experience in professional practice, and has specialized in providing assistance to companies in the public markets and in helping private companies become public either through direct IPOs or through reverse mergers. A significant portion of his practice involves the extractive sector, both in mining and oil and
gas. Maruf is recognized as a specialist in the industry with deep knowledge of accounting and governance issues affecting extractive companies. He has often spoken on behalf of the mining community to various organizations such as the OSC and the CICA bringing concerns to these organizations in order to arrive at practical and pragmatic solutions.
